The Analysis of the Effect of Targeted Compensation Exercise on Volleyball Player's Movement System
KRULIŠOVÁ, Diana
The graduation thesis deals with the influence of compensatory exercise on the movement system of volleyball players. The literature review summarizes the issue of sports game of volleyball and the most common health problems resulting from unilateral body overload in volleyball players. The graduation thesis was written in the form of individual case studies. Probands aged 20-25 years participated in the study. A sport history of probands was created. We used content analysis and synthesis, semi-structured interview, testing and messurement. Compensatory exercises were designed focusing on the most problematic areas of the musculoskeletal system based on the results of the initial examination of players. Examination of the muscoskeletal system was performed using standardized functional muscle tests. Subsequently, the exercise was applied twice a week for 8 weeks. Then the final examination was performed in the same way the initial examination and the changes were compared. All three players slightly improved their posture. The abdominal muscles, lower scapular fixators and back muscles were strengthened. Player number 3 had a relatively large loss of fat and muscle growth. Verification of the compensation program can be considered successful.
Creation and verification of methodical material using overball exercise aid for children of younger school age
MARKOVÁ, Kateřina
The diploma thesis verifies the influence of compensatory exercise using a mini exercise ball (overball). It is focused on the muscular system of middle childhood (8-11). The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. A collection of compensational exercises consisting of 30 parts was build based on results from the initial examination of tested participants. The examination of the muscular system was accomplished by several standardized tests (evaluation of body composition by Lomíček, Mathias test, Adams test, an examination of the muscular stereotypes. A compensatory exercise was done after the examination once a week for eight weeks as a group exercise under a professional supervisor. When the examination was over a final evaluation was done, which was identical to the initial testing. As a conclusion, the effect of compensatory exercise was completed. Based on the application of provided and verified methodological material a certain change was achieved. The best improvement was achieved during the examination of the muscular stereotypes. Three of the tested participants noticed an improvement, none of them noticed a worsening. The least improvement was recorded by Adams test, only one tested participant improved, others without any change. In some cases, there were individual changes. In particular areas, there were changes of individual character, nevertheless, an evaluation of the group was identical to the initial testing. A benefit of this thesis is to make use of a mini exercise ball (overball) to make the exercise and positive influence of the exercise more effective on the muscular system not only for middle childhood.
Interpretation of Common Used Tumor Markers Affectedy by Systemic and Inflammatory Diseases
Čásová, Miroslava ; Topolčan, Ondřej (advisor) ; Ludvíková, Marie (referee) ; Šafarčík, Kristian (referee)
Interpretation of Common Used Tumor Markers Affected by Systemic and Inflammatory Diseases Introduction: An examination of tumor markers is often made as a basis for the successful diagnosis and follow-up treatment of patients with malignant tumors. However, are tumor markers truly significant by themselves, or are they just a baseline quantitative expression of value that we use to diagnose a patient as better or worse based on it increasing or decreasing value? Objective: This paper attempts to answer the question of what factors can affect serum protein and mucin markers and thus lead to a misinterpretation of their results. Methods: Tumor markers were determined by isotopic and non-isotopic laboratory analysis methods, using operational protocols of the immunoanalytic laboratory. All methods were checked using internal quality control, and four times a year using an external quality control. Additionally, 16 236 samples were analysed using 3180 probands during the period 2008-2014. Results: We discovered that in premenopausal women, the markers AFP, CA 125 and HE 4 rise during ovulation peak periods while other markers changed minimally or not at all. However, in postmenopausal women, we proved the incidence of a false positivity marker. With women in the 1st and 2nd trimester of pregnancy, the...
The prevalence of overweight and obesity at Secondary School Pupils in the Region of Klatovsko.
PAVEZA, Ondřej
This thesis deals with finding the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children in the second grade of primary school in the region Klatovy. The data analysis was used the height and weight of probands BMI index, also used values of waist circumference and hip circumference, WHR index determination. The research was conducted at seven elementary schools in the region Klatovy and was attended by only 230 children, 110 boys and 120 girls. The observed prevalence of probands is 6,08 % for overweight and 1,73 % for obesity.
Analysis of the impact of complex regeneration on the sport performance of the athlete in Mixed martial arts club Gladiators gym České Budějovice
MARŠÁLEK, Martin
The diploma thesis deals with the effectiveness of specific regeneration on results of a test working capacity of mixed martial arts athletes. The effectiveness of Jacobson's progressive muscle relaxation, full body massage and sauna was tested on first proband. Schultz's autogenic training, whirlpool bath were used on second proband. Both probands performed the same compensatory exercises after MMA training session. Trainings were scheduled three times per week. Intervention programmes lasted for eight weeks. The thesis briefly summarizes the issues of MMA and subsequently the distribution of regeneration and its importance in relation to sport performance. Content analysis, synthesis and measurement method, were used. The research was conducted in the form of individual case studies. Using semi-structured interviews, case-histories of the probands were created. To determine the working capacity, the W170 test was used. The intervention program followed, after which, the W170 test, was performed again. According to the results of working capacity test, the level of working capacity increased, per 42,8 % at first proband and 16,07 % at second proband.

Analysis of the effect of the partial sports massage to specific musculoskeletal injuries of athletes in mixed martial arts at club Gladiators gym Czech Budejovice
MARŠÁLEK, Martin
The bachelor thesis is concerned with the effectiveness of specific regeneration on particular functional defects caused by mixed martial arts training (MMA). The effectiveness of partial sports massage and compensatory exercises was tested on three chosen probands for six weeks. Programs for home use were drawn up on the basis of the individual injuries. In the thesis, the matter of MMA, its development, and the reasons for its recent popularity are briefly summarised. Then, the techniques of MMA, which caused the impairments, how the impairments manifest and in what ways they limit the athletes. Content analysis and synthesis were used. The research was conducted in the form of individual case studies. Using semi-structured interviews, case-histories of the probands were created. Functional muscle tests were used for the examinations of the musculoskeletal system. This was followed by the application of massage and compensatory exercises. The probands evaluated the progress of pain subjectively after each massage using a visual analog scale. According to the visual analog scale, the perception of pain was reduced by an average of three degrees.

HAŠKOVÁ, Radka
Bachelor thesis is specialized on creation of week reconvalescence camp for clients from socially handicapped (weak) families. A theoretical part of my thesis is about data collection, clarification of basic terms from sphere of socially handicaped environment, social health and family as a primary socialization group. A practical part of my thesis is about preparing and realising my program and about its verification in practice. Two groups about 20 and 18 probands passed this program. Appointed special questions aimed to verify feasibility of the program in practice. Keywords:
